1

Assessment & Planning

We’ll spend the first two sessions exploring the unique intersections of your life, pregnancy, and outline your postpartum support plan.

2

Create your roadmap

Together, we’ll design a plan that feels right for you. Whether that’s exploring attachment, processing emotions, or building practical supports.

3

Postpartum Support

After baby arrives, we’ll check in, adjust plans, debrief your birth experience, and make sure you feel anchored through it all.

Pricing

Each session is offered at a discounted rate of $135.

  • Because these services are provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW):

    • Many extended health insurance plans cover sessions, making them eligible for reimbursement.

    • In Canada, Social Work services are deductible under the Income Tax Act as a medical expense.

    • I also offer a sliding scale to reduce financial barriers. Please reach out if cost feels like a concern.

Next Steps

If you’re interested in the Anchor Program, here’s how to get started:

  1. Book a Free 20-Minute Consultation
This is a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if the program feels like the right fit for you.

  2. Schedule Your First Session
We’ll begin with a bio-psychosocial assessment to map out your unique needs and goals.

  3. Begin Your Journey With Support
Together, we’ll create a personalized plan for your mental health and navigate the transition into parenthood with care, flexibility, and community.

Frequently Asked Quesitons

What happens if my baby comes early?

You’ll still receive all 10 sessions at the Anchor rate. The program is flexible, so if your baby arrives earlier than expected, the remaining sessions will shift into postpartum support. This ensures you still get the wraparound care you need, tailored to where you are in your journey.

What is a Sharing Session?

A Sharing Session is an opportunity to bring together the people who will support you during postpartum like your partner, midwife, doula, or family. Together, we review your mental health care plan and discuss how everyone can best support you. It’s about building community, fostering understanding, and making sure your care team is on the same page.

What is a Bio-Psychosocial Assessment?

This assessment is a holistic look at your pregnancy, mental health, environment, and support system. During the first session(s), we explore your medical and mental health history, reproductive health, current supports, cultural background, identity, and interests. This helps us understand your unique needs and guides the personalized plan for your postpartum journey.

What if I’m only interested in the prenatal sessions?

You can choose to complete only the prenatal portion of Anchor. If you decide later that you’d like postpartum support, you can always add sessions at that time.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Many extended health insurance plans will reimburse sessions with a Registered Social Worker. Receipts are provided for insurance purposes.

What if I need to cancel a session?

24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.

As a third-generation white settler, I acknowledge that I live, learn, work, and play on the traditional and unceded lands of the Tla'amin Nation and the shíshálh Nation, and I am deeply grateful. This recognition guides my work with sincerity, humility, and accountability. I honour the enduring stewardship of these lands and commit to ongoing reconciliation through respectful relationships and support for Indigenous rights. In practice, I reflect this commitment through accessible services, including sliding scale options that acknowledge ongoing systemic and economic inequities.
